New Year’s Day “hangover” brunch

On New Years Day we had some friends come over at 11, 12, how about 1, actually, 2. 2 sounds good. We had some friends over at 2 for a “hangover” brunch. We made do-it-yourself sausage, egg, and cheese muffins, Swedish pancakes (R’s speciality) with sausage links or jam and sugar, grapefruit, and mimosas.

R has a special way of cooking up the Swedish pancakes. Anyone who can make a good Swedish pancake can flip it in the pan. That’s how you know they’re done!
(video hopefully to come soon)

We also made some food to snack in while watching the U of M football game. From Pinterest, R got the idea for these pepperoni pizza roll ups (crescent rolls with string cheese and pepperoni, bake and serve with marinara).

About casadezhang

J and I got married in August 2010, and purchased our first house in May 2012. I decided to start a blog so I can ramble on about all the thing I find interesting. How is this different than any other home/life blog? It's probably not - but I just like to talk :). I'm not the best at updating my blogs, but I'll try to update at least once a week, or whenever anything interesting happens :).
